Pedicularis canadensis (Scrophulariaceae) - This member of the snapdragon family is also known as "lousewort". Although it is not related to the herb "Betony" (Stachys officinalis), wood betony has also previosly been used for medicinal purposes. Blooms in the spring. (Photographed in WI)
