Glechoma hederacea
(Labiatae) -- This member of the Mint family, also known as "Ground Ivy",
was imported from Europe. Formerly used in the making of beer, a tea can also be made of the fresh leaves.
This small plant is commonly found in yards. Blooms in spring, early summer, and sometimes even later.
