Subject: WANTED FOR FAQ: More image formats and test images.

Here is my monthly plea for more image formats and test images
for the alt.image.medical FAQ. This usually preceeds an impending
release of the FAQ.

Anyone who has access to images from anything, would you please let
me know ? Then we can work out which formats I have and which need
updating or testing.

Particular holes at the moment include:

	- GE Vectra (Sytec is partially worked out)
	- GE Genesis (Signa 5X and High Speed CT) optical media
	- Siemens optical and tape media
	- Any modality other than CT and MR from anyone
	- Any vendor other than GE or Siemens !
	- Independent workstation vendors.

Some vendors refuse to give out the formats (Philips), others think
about it and never reply definitively (ISG), and some are uncontactable
(Siemens), so a lot of formats will have to be reverse engineered from
sample images with filmed annotations.

The FAQ in its current form may be big, but it is not comprehensive.
I can't buy every piece of equipment, so more help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks to all those who have contributed so far.
